Individual Growth in the Public Support System: Multidimensional Scientific Perception Index Building and Analysis

摘要:

借鉴国际多维贫困测量方法原理，通过对大众参与、公共服务以及相关因素进行综合考量，首次提出“多维科学文化欠缺”概念，将19个与科学文化水平相关的指标分为6个维度进行测算。分析结果表明：五个调查地区科普工作面临最严重的问题是“社会关系”和“社区支持”2个维度。多维科学文化水平从高到低依次为：石屏县、姚安县、禄劝县、宣威市、官渡区。针对云南省科普教育及宣传工作，提出了改善社区支持和开展教育投入的政策建议。

Abstract:

Referring to the principle of A-F multidimensional poverty measurement method, “multidimensional scientific perception deficiency” was the first proposed via the public participation, public services and surrounding factors of a comprehensive consideration, the 19 typical indicators of scientific perception were divided into 6 dimensions for data measurement. It showed the most serious problem of scientific perception deficiency are social relation composition and communities support rather than own education level in the five surveyed areas in Yunnan Province, and migration population is important factors affecting scientific perception level, multidimensional scientific perception level from high to low is as: Shiping County, Yaoan County, Luquan County, Xuanwei City, Guandu District. To improve the general scientific perception of public in Yunnan Province, two policy suggestions of improving community support and educational input are made.
