Abstract:High-quality economic growth depends on an innovation system with multi-agent participation and efficient coordination.Under the background of open economy, the globalization process expands the scope and depth of innovation subjects'' participation in international cooperation, so the "foreign" dimension should be included in the dimension of innovation system analysis.Based on the four-dimensional perspective of "government, industry, scientific research institutions and foreign countries", using the information entropy algorithm and the activity data of Chinese science and technology enterprises, this paper constructs the index of innovation system coordination degree at provincial level, and analyzes the influence of regional innovation system coordination degree on the quality of economic growth.The results show that improving the coordination degree of innovation system can improve the quality of regional economic growth.However, in 2-D collaborative innovation, excessive increase of government participation may hinder the role of innovation system in economic growth.In addition, the synergistic growth effect of innovation system is mainly realized by improving the efficiency of innovation resource allocation and enhancing knowledge creation and transformation.The marginal growth effect of synergy degree decreases with the improvement of economic growth quality.Poor market system environment will weaken the promotion effect of collaborative innovation.The above conclusions have certain policy implications for China''s current innovation system mechanism construction and the transformation and optimization of government functions.
