Abstract:The 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party emphasized that education, technology, and talent are the foundational and strategic support for Chinese-style modernization. To deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the coordinated advancement of the ‘three-in-one’ approach, in February 2025, the editorial department of technological economics collaborated with the ‘Talent Strong Country’ themed salon to organize experts for an in-depth discussion on the topic of ‘Coordinated Development of Education, Technology, and Talent’, focusing on dimensions such as optimizing the innovation environment, deep integration of industry and talent, reforming systems and mechanisms, and regional collaborative innovation. The participating experts concentrated on core issues such as the reconstruction of the talent ecosystem in the era of artificial intelligence, cross-border collaborative mechanisms of new research and development institutions, innovative organizational models for tackling key core technologies, and the construction of demonstration zones for industry-education integration. They systematically explored the paths for education supply-side reform, strategies for reconstructing the evaluation system for scientific and technological talent, and optimization plans for the market allocation of innovative factors. By analyzing typical cases such as Hangzhou’s ‘Industry-Talent Integration Demonstration Zone’ and the ‘Einstein Probe’ talent training project, they proposed policy recommendations to build a comprehensive technology innovation service system, improve the ‘four-chain integration’ ecological system, and strengthen the training mechanism for strategic scientists, providing theoretical support and practical references for creating a globally competitive talent development hub and promoting the leap in new quality productivity.
