    数智赋能双元创新是抢占科技发展制高点、加快培育新质生产力的重要引擎。基于2010—2023年中国城市面板数据,考察数智化对双元创新的影响效应及作用机制。研究发现:数智化驱动双元创新具有非对称性,对突破式创新呈线性正向影响,对渐进式创新呈先抑后促的 U 型影响。数智化促进了双元创新协同,但对其互动关系呈“平衡性下降、互补性上升”的分化影响。机制检验表明,优化要素配置与促进知识集聚是重要的传导路径。其中,资本要素配置与劳动要素配置的传导效应存在“偏向性”,知识集聚的传导效应具有“选择性”。调节效应检验表明,知识扩散不仅正向调节数智化对双元创新及其协同的直接效应,还对知识集聚的后半传导路径具有正向调节效应。异质性分析表明,数智化对突破式创新的驱动作用在资源型和低科研水平城市中更突出;对渐进式创新的驱动作用仅在高科研水平城市中显著,而在资源型城市中则表现为显著抑制;对双元创新协同的驱动作用在资源型和高科研水平城市中更突出。本文研究深化了数智驱动区域创新的理论内涵,为优化数智化战略布局,因地制宜释放创新潜能提供了科学依据。

    Abstract:

    Digital intelligence empowerment of ambidextrous innovation serves as a key driver for securing a leading position in technological development and accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces. Panel data from Chinese cities from 2010 to 2023 was used to examine the impact and mechanisms of digital intelligence on ambidextrous innovation. The findings are as follows. The role of digital intelligence in driving ambidextrous innovation is asymmetric. A linear positive effect on breakthrough innovation is exerted by it, while its impact on incremental innovation follows a U-shaped pattern, in which it is initially suppressed and then stimulated. The synergy in ambidextrous innovation is promoted by digital intelligence, but a differentiated influence on their interactive relationship is exerted, which is characterized by decreasing balance and increasing complementarity. Mechanism tests indicate that optimizing factor allocation and promoting knowledge agglomeration are key transmission pathways. Among these, the transmission effects of capital and labor factor allocation exhibit bias, while the transmission effect of knowledge agglomeration demonstrates selectivity. Moderation effect tests show that knowledge diffusion not only positively moderates the direct effects of digital intelligence on ambidextrous innovation and its synergy, but also exerts a positive moderating effect on the latter half of the transmission pathway for knowledge agglomeration. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the driving effect of digital intelligence on breakthrough innovation is more prominent in resource-based and low-scientific-level cities. The driving effect of incremental innovation is significant only in high-scientific-level cities, whereas a significant inhibitory effect is observed in resource-based cities. The driving effect on ambidextrous innovation synergy is more prominent in resource-based and high-scientific-level cities. The theoretical understanding of digitally driven regional innovation is deepened, and a scientific basis is provided for optimizing the strategic layout of digital intelligence and unleashing innovation potential in a manner tailored to local conditions.
